2024 FALL Yoga for Osteoporosis

Do you have Osteopenia or Osteoporosis? Did you know that practicing yoga could help strengthen bones and increase bone mineral density?  The primary goals of this class is too: build body awareness, increase strength, coordination, improve balance alignment, and better postural habits.   This class is designed for anyone who wants to help build up strength and proper alignment in the yoga poses.  All you need to bring is a yoga mat, towel, or a small blanket, two blocks, and a yoga strap. 

Washington Township Recreation“ Yoga for Osteoporosis” is open to everyone and will be held on Tuesday’s September 24 – November 19, 2024 from 8:30am-9:30am.

The 8-week class have a nonrefundable fee due before September 18, 2024.
